Choir

The Granby Choir is a community ensemble built around the joy of singing together. We focus on original pieces and seasonal music that reflect the character of our region and the rhythms of the year. The sound is simple, heartfelt, and rooted in the belief that music grows strongest when shared. Whether we’re working on a new piece written here in Granby or revisiting familiar songs for the holidays, the choir keeps its focus on connection and steady, honest musicianship.

We are always looking for new voices. There are no auditions, no fees, and no pressure. Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to join us, whether you have years of experience or you’re just beginning. The choir works at an easy pace, and the goal is never perfection, just the pleasure of making music together. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a group that feels supportive and grounded, this is a good place to start.

The choir performs throughout the year at venues across the Pioneer Valley. Our home stage is Granby’s historic Kellogg Hall, where we sing for seasonal gatherings and community events. We also bring our music to local museums such as Wistariahurst in Holyoke and the Porter Phelps Huntington Museum in Hadley, as well as area nursing homes, living communities, and other welcoming spaces. These concerts give us a chance to share music with people where they are, and that has become one of the most meaningful parts of our work.

If you’d like to join or just ask a few questions, you can reach us anytime at granbymusicstudio@gmail.com  or text 413-213-5767.
